"THE EDGE" - A Movie Recommendation

It's not a new movie but it was new to us and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Both of us were sorry to see it end and it's not a short movie. Not being fans of Alex Baldwin who co-starred in it, we have to be fair and give him credit for his great acting in this film. It's absolutely captivating and if you haven't seen it and you like a good action movie without the profanity that pops up in so many of them these days, then you will truly enjoy this one. Besides, did you know that the inside of banana skins are good for polishing shoes and you can make fire from ice? No? Watch the movie.

A favorite bit of script from The Edge. Baldwin says: "See Charlie, that's why they call it 'personal growth.' A year ago you would have called your lawyer."

Hopkins replies: "No... I wouldn't do that to an animal."

Priceless!

Here's the blurb from Netflix:
When their plane crashes in the Alaskan wilderness, fashion photographer Bob (Alec Baldwin) and intellectual businessman Charles (Anthony Hopkins) must fight for their survival -- and the gigantic, ravenous bear chasing them is not helping matters. Co-starring supermodel Elle Macpherson as Charles's much-younger wife, this taut thriller features a screenplay packed with testosterone-heavy zingers from renowned scribe David Mamet.
The "Dena" part of the "RaDena" team enjoyed this movie immensely despite not being packed with testosterone.
